Welcome to the January edition of Proquis News and happy New Year to you all. 2010 was a year of consolidation for us and for many of our clients in tough global conditions.  Only three of our clients went into liquidation during the year which is considerably below what we would have expected if statistics from various governments around the world are to be believed. 

This does make one wonder if having good Quality Management systems, well planned and implemented procesess go hand-in-hand with keeping the business healthy?  Many of our clients lost a considerable percentage of their workforce, which is always regrettable, however what is left should be leaner and better prepared for the year ahead and beyond.

In this edition we are branching out a little to include some more general tips relating to MS Office and it is our intention to include some more general QM and business news items too. 

We are particularly keen to include a short client profile which could include information on what you do, who your typical clients are and, of course, how you manage to keep them happy.  Consider this as free PR - not much is free in the world so if you want to discuss this with us we would be very happy to hear from you. 

On a final note you will see that this newsletter and the articles are a mixture of English an American spelling - this is a deliberate break from tradition!
